OSEA Wildlife Media is the licensing home for an award-winning African wildlife photographer, operated by OSEA Diver Ltd.
Leen van der Slik is a South African wildlife photographer whose work spans decades of wildlife photography. His images have been recognised in national competitions and photographic salons, and he holds the distinction of FPSSA (Fellow of the Photographic Society of South Africa), one of the Society’s highest photographic honours.
Two decades of fieldwork across East and Southern Africa have built an archive spanning apex predators, birds in flight, and endangered species — with a deep focus on behaviour, light and the decisive moment. Every frame is catalogued with the metadata publishers and producers need to licence with confidence.
OSEA Diver Ltd operates OSEA Wildlife Media and acts as the exclusive commercial licensing representative for the archive. Copyright remains with the photographer; OSEA handles rights, sales and customer care so the work reaches the right audiences on fair terms.
The work is made with a low-impact, animal-first approach: no baiting of predators, no nest disturbance, respectful distances and adherence to park and community guidelines. Captions never misrepresent wild behaviour as staged.
We support responsible use of wildlife imagery and encourage licensees to credit species and habitats accurately. A portion of licensing from selected endangered-species work is directed toward conservation partners.
