Legal
These terms apply to every licence granted through OSEA Wildlife Media. The specific licence type you purchased (e.g. Editorial, Commercial, Broadcast) and any bespoke terms on your licence document take precedence where they differ.
Subject to full payment, you are granted a non-exclusive (unless you purchased an Exclusive Licence), non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the licensed asset for the permitted uses of your licence type.
Copyright remains with the photographer at all times. OSEA Diver Ltd acts as the exclusive commercial licensing representative where applicable. Licensing does not transfer copyright.
For personal, non-commercial use. No expiry. Includes personal digital use and physical printing for your own private display. Publication, resale, redistribution and commercial use are not permitted.
You may supply the file to a professional print service solely to make prints for your own private, non-commercial display. The file may not be retained or reused by the print service for any other purpose.
Museum-quality prints remain available as a separate, professionally produced product for customers who prefer OSEA to manage production.
Editorial licences cover news, commentary and non-advertising contexts. Commercial and advertising uses require the corresponding licence.
These options apply to new purchases from 8 September 2026. Existing purchases retain the price, rights and term recorded when purchased. The licence summary saved with your purchase records your selected scope.
Project licences allow the finished work to remain available, not reuse of the source image or clip in unlimited new projects. Resale, stock-library redistribution, merchandise and sublicensing are not included. Ordinary business licences do not include broadcast, outdoor advertising or exclusivity; request a written agreement for those uses.
Where reasonably possible, credit the photographer and OSEA Wildlife Media. Editorial uses should include a visible credit.
Breach of these terms, or a refund/chargeback, terminates the licence and revokes download access. We may audit usage where we reasonably suspect misuse.
