The archive

Loreen Awuor’s OSEA Wildlife Media archive focuses on candid wildlife encounters, natural animal behaviour and documentary nature photography from Kenya. The archive currently includes her featured series A Mother’s Journey, photographed in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, on 25 September 2025. The four-image series documents a mother monkey carrying the remains of her deceased infant after a troop entered a Nairobi compound to feed on wild berries. Loreen photographed the encounter using a Nikon D7200 and also recorded a short video of the event.
